Corporate Governance

We seek to improve our practices and management tools continuously. Get to know the instances that make up this structure.

As a publicly-held company, we follow the rules set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and by BM&FBovespa in Brazil. Abroad, we meet the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the NYSE rules, in the United States; the rules set forth by the Latibex, of the Bolsa y Mercados Españoles, in Spain; as well as those of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, in Argentina.

We apply management procedures compatible with the standards of the markets in which we operate to make sure we are aligned with international standards of transparency. By doing so, we seek to strengthen our credibility on the market and enhance our relationship with our stakeholders: Shareholders, investors, customers, suppliers, employees, and the society, among others.

The corporate governance structure of Petrobras consists of the Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Audit Committee, Board of Directors and their Committees, Audits, Complaints Office, Executive Board and Business Committee.
